Our mission at Touch Nepal is to Reach Every Village ™ with the good news of Jesus. But we need to be able to get there first and that often isn’t easy in Nepal!

We currently use Honda XR150 model years 2018 and 2019 thanks to our donors. We’ve pounded endless kilometers and hard riding (as you’ll see) on these small 149cc engines. We’re starting to experience engine issues despite these being well maintained. One of the two bikes has already had the top end of the engine rebuilt twice.

232 pastors and emerging leaders have graduated from Touch Nepal’s unique two year Remote Area Pastor Training Program since it’s 2019 inception! We’re currently training 136 PASTORS in 3 separate districts!

OUR MINISTRY IS YEAR ROUND. EVEN MONSOON SEASON.
We train pastors year round in Nepal, even during monsoon season. The heavy rains begin mid June and lasts through September and that brings new difficulties for us.
THAT’S A STAGGERING 60” - 180” OF RAIN!
While there are regional variations, the country average is 60> inches of rain in just a 3.5 month period!

THE NEED FOR STRONG OFFROAD MOTORCYCLES.
These motorcycles are often noted as being “adventure” style motorcycles for their ability to be street legal yet thrive in difficult terrain. The bikes we’re looking at have significantly stronger engines, better suspension, traction control, better brakes and a lot of updated technology!
KTM 390cc ADVENTURE R is the other bike we’re looking at. Both have exceptionally updated technology from our older bikes, including super bright LED lights for increased visibility for our dawn and night time travels.
Both the CFMOTO and KTM bikes have updated ABS braking systems (anti lock braking) which the older bikes don’t have and is considerably safer in all elements.
